TREATISE

Drawing from a hand-made book of works, Treatise

Edward Eberle produced many drawings and writings about the process of creating art in the studio. Here is an excerpt from a handmade book of works titled Treatise:

"Drawing as a form of expression is closely related to writing, acting, dancing, singing, painting, poetry, yelling, whispering, walking, eating, sleeping, dreaming, loving, being on this Earth. One draws from life - not that abstract thing out there somewhere, but from the essence, soul, spirit, energy that is within; as in, drawing from the life within to make sense of what is there without."
Edward Eberle

Pictured Quote:

"Judgement should be reserved for the COURTS of LAW. THEY HAVE NO PLACE IN THE ARTIST'S STUDIO. TALK ABOUT A SHOW-STOPPER!"
